Ecovia Turf is a Brisbane-based, family-owned artificial turf and landscape-construction company delivering residential, commercial and landscaping projects across Southeast Queensland.
Founded by Stephen Frappell and built on more than 17 years of artificial-turf and project experience, Ecovia combines premium ONE-DNA™ products with careful preparation, clear communication and work completed by its own experienced teams.
Why Ecovia Turf Was Established
After years of delivering artificial-turf and landscape projects, Stephen saw an opportunity to create a company that combined premium products with better preparation, project management and long-term thinking.
Ecovia Turf was established to provide customers with artificial turf that looks and performs as expected, installed by people who understand the complete site — including access, levels, drainage, base construction and the surrounding landscape.
Stephen also wanted to offer a more sustainable product choice. That led Ecovia to the ONE-DNA™ range: artificial turf made using a single-polymer construction that allows the complete product to be recycled back into reusable polyethylene raw material at the end of its useful life.
That original purpose continues to guide the company today: deliver quality work, communicate properly and keep improving the way artificial-turf projects are designed and completed.

Ecovia has grown from its founder-led beginnings into a capable team delivering projects across homes, schools, playgrounds, rooftops, commercial facilities and complete outdoor renovations.
Our artificial-turf and landscaping work is completed by Ecovia's own installation teams, supported by experienced machine operators and practical project coordination. This gives customers one company responsible for the agreed work and a team that understands how each part of the project affects the finished result.
Stephen remains involved in the direction of the business and key project decisions, while Ecovia's people, processes and standards support consistent delivery across every project.
Sustainable Artificial Turf, Backed by Practical Action
Ecovia supplies ONE-DNA™ artificial turf made using a single-polymer construction. The fibres and backing are made from the same polyethylene material, allowing the complete turf product to be recycled back into reusable polyethylene raw material at the end of its useful life.
The range is PFAS-free and manufactured without traditional latex or polyurethane backing, supported by the applicable product documentation. All clean ONE-DNA™ offcuts generated through Ecovia installations are collected and delivered to a recycling facility rather than sent to landfill.
These more sustainable material and waste choices are combined with the natural appearance, drainage and durability required for demanding residential and commercial projects. Every product in the Ecovia ONE-DNA™ range is backed by a 15-year product warranty.
