Client Brief
Rob contacted Ecovia Turf as he was finishing a major home renovation and preparing to move into his newly updated property in Cleveland. The backyard was still covered in old pavers that felt uncomfortable underfoot and no longer suited the refreshed look of the home. With grandchildren regularly visiting, Rob wanted a modern, low-maintenance outdoor space that was safe, practical and comfortable for family use, without the cost or disruption of removing the existing surface.
Our Solution
To modernise the space efficiently, Ecovia Turf installed 140 square metres of EcoLife 35 mm ONE-DNA artificial turf directly over the existing paver base. This approach allowed us to create a softer, more inviting surface while making use of the stable underlying structure. The EcoLife turf was selected for its durability, comfort underfoot and suitability for family environments, providing a neat, contemporary finish that complements the renovated home and stands up to regular use by visiting grandchildren.
The Result
Replacing the hard, outdated pavers with EcoLife artificial turf transformed the backyard into a modern, functional outdoor area. The finished space now offers a softer surface underfoot, improved visual appeal and a practical solution that can be enjoyed year-round with minimal upkeep.
