This landscaping project in North Lakes, Brisbane involved a complete boundary upgrade including retaining wall construction, Colorbond fencing and artificial turf installation. Ecovia Turf was engaged to transform the property perimeter by removing existing garden beds and natural turf to allow for structural landscaping improvements.
The finished project provides a clean, secure and low maintenance outdoor space, combining durable boundary structures with EcoAbode 30 mm artificial turf to create a practical lawn area that complements the property.
Project Brief and Site Requirements
Steven contacted Ecovia Turf to deliver a comprehensive boundary upgrade at his North Lakes property. The existing garden beds and natural turf along the boundary required removal so that retaining walls and new fencing could be installed.
The goal was to improve privacy, boundary definition and overall presentation while also creating a tidy and low maintenance outdoor area.
To achieve this, the project required a contractor experienced in retaining wall construction, boundary fencing and artificial turf installation to deliver a coordinated landscaping solution.
Boundary Landscaping and Artificial Turf Installation Solution
Ecovia Turf began by removing the existing garden beds and natural turf to prepare the site for the boundary construction works.
Retaining walls were constructed along the property perimeter to stabilise ground levels and support the revised landscape layout. Approximately 70 lineal metres of retaining wall were installed on site, with a further 20 lineal metres constructed along the neighbouring boundary.
An 1800 mm high Colorbond fence was then installed to improve privacy and clearly define the property boundary.
Once the structural landscaping works were complete, the team installed 80m² of EcoAbode 30 mm artificial turf, delivering a durable and low maintenance lawn surface that complements the new boundary features.
