Supply and Install Synthetic Turf in Thorneside
Our client, Luke, was looking to reduce maintenance requirements, accommodate a new caravan, enhance natural light in their home, improve privacy with a fence, and add value for an eventual resale.
Synthetic Turf Solution
Ecovia Turf provided a comprehensive solution that included the removal and stump grinding of existing trees to clear the area and let in more light. We leveled the block for uniformity and poured a concrete slab for secure caravan parking. The installation of 135m2 of our 30mm EcoAbode synthetic turf ensured a low-maintenance green space, while a newly installed timber fence enhanced privacy. A ‘mow strip’ was created around the project perimeter to meet council landscaping requirements.

Scope of works
Conducted bulk excavation and removed trees and stumps to clear the area.
Installed a timber fence to secure and privatise the property.
Added paved edges for aesthetic appeal and practical maintenance.
Poured an 80m2 concrete slab for durable caravan parking.
Laid down 135m2 of environmentally friendly 30mm EcoAbode artificial turf for a beautiful, maintenance-free lawn.
Assisted with the necessary council applications and approvals to ensure the project met all local regulations.

This was our third project with Steve from Ecovia Turf normally when you hire someone to help out with artificial turf and landscaping they blame all the other trades if something is not right or can’t start on time but Steve goes above and beyond and really does care about the project and has an open mind when things don’t go accordingly to plan or when our plans changed.
He’s without doubt the most reliable tradesmen I’ve worked with in a long time and this Thorneside project was our third with him and we will have no hesitance in going for our fourth next year. 11 out of 10 stars
