The client’s existing space was a combination of patchy grass, damaged retaining walls, broken fencing, uneven ground, poor drainage and a poor quality pool fence. The area was dated, not suitable for young children and required excessive maintenance. The client was also preparing their home to be sold and needed landscaping design with a premium finish.

Artificial Grass Solution

Our solution for this area was to open up the pool area by removing the existing aluminum fence and old retaining walls which enclosed the space. Building up base heights to be able to run artificial grass over the concrete path saved the costs of demolition and allowed 2 areas to seamlessly join, increasing the area in size.

We installed 170m2 of 35mm artificial turf because the area will have high foot traffic and the darker product complimented the color of the pool. Our team installed the new colorbond fencing, timber fencing, gazebo, retaining walls and garden beds to transform this entire backyard.

This project took 8 working days, including the use of earth moving equipment. External contractors such as painters, pool glass installation specialist and concrete epoxy flooring installers for this job were also project managed under Ecovia Turf. 

Our client’s backyard was transformed into a dream area for family’s and friends to enjoy and increased the value of his home.

Exceptional to say the least, Stephen and the team were very professional from the outset. I had a very bespoke project to complete which threw up many curve balls. The team dealt with change in an excellent manner from a timing, quality and a financial perspective. Some excellent out of the box solutions and very good implementation to very bespoke situations.
