Shopping Centre Artificial Grass Installation Yamanto
Client Needs
Installing the artificial turf at the Yamanto Shopping Centre
Yamanto Central Shopping Centre required a solution to reduce the maintenance of difficult-to-mow areas, create a usable space adjacent to the play area, save on future maintenance costs, and address damage to walls throughout the center caused by shopping and delivery trolleys.
Artificial Grass Solution
Ecovia Turf provided a unique solution tailored to the shopping center's specific needs. To reduce the maintenance burden, we replaced the hard-to-mow sloped areas with our 35mm EcoLife artificial turf, ensuring a lush, green appearance that requires minimal upkeep. We also addressed the steepness of the mound by reducing its slope, making the area more accessible and usable.
Installing the artificial grass
To enhance safety and eliminate trip hazards, we installed a concrete perimeter around the turf areas, securing the artificial turf firmly in place. This approach not only improves safety but also adds a clean, finished look to the landscape. Additionally, we used soft, comfortable artificial turf to cover the mounded areas, creating a pleasant surface for visitors.
Our solution for recurring wall damage caused by trolleys, was to install artificial turf around the corners of walls to protect them from further impact. This innovative solution provides a cushioned barrier that absorbs the impact of trolleys, preventing damage and maintaining the center’s aesthetic appeal.
Overall, our solutions not only met the client's needs for low maintenance and cost savings but also enhanced the safety and usability of the center's outdoor spaces, contributing to a better visitor experience.
