Installing the artificial turf at the Yamanto Shopping Centre
Yamanto Central Shopping Centre required a solution to reduce the maintenance of difficult-to-mow areas, create a usable space adjacent to the play area, save on future maintenance costs, and address damage to walls throughout the center caused by shopping and delivery trolleys.

Installing the artificial grass
To enhance safety and eliminate trip hazards, we installed a concrete perimeter around the turf areas, securing the artificial turf firmly in place. This approach not only improves safety but also adds a clean, finished look to the landscape. Additionally, we used soft, comfortable artificial turf to cover the mounded areas, creating a pleasant surface for visitors.
Our solution for recurring wall damage caused by trolleys, was to install artificial turf around the corners of walls to protect them from further impact. This innovative solution provides a cushioned barrier that absorbs the impact of trolleys, preventing damage and maintaining the center’s aesthetic appeal.
Overall, our solutions not only met the client’s needs for low maintenance and cost savings but also enhanced the safety and usability of the center’s outdoor spaces, contributing to a better visitor experience.
Scope of works
Conducted bulk excavation and responsible disposal of materials.
Spread materials on the mound and stabilised with cement.
Completed a cement perimeter to secure the artificial turf, eradicating trip hazards.
Installed trim to block walls, ensuring no sharp edges.
Artificial Turf Installation
Installed 40m2 of 35mm EcoLife artificial turf, wrapping it around walls for protection.
Installed 160m2 of 35mm EcoLife artificial turf on two mounded areas.
